Comprehensive care for complex head and neck cancers
Our multidisciplinary team provides care for benign and malignant tumors found on the skin, the mucous membranes of the mouth, throat, sinuses and nose, and the salivary, thyroid and parathyroid glands.
Types of head and neck cancers we treat
Our specialists are experienced in treating the following conditions:
- Oral cancers
- Parathyroid adenomas
- Salivary gland tumors
- Skin cancers, including complex skin cancers not treatable by Mohs surgery
- Skull base tumors
- Throat cancers
- Voice box cancers
Your physician will discuss nonsurgical and surgical options, and we'll recommend additional resources and care as needed to help you through your cancer journey.
Nonsurgical treatment options
In some cases, head and neck cancers can be treated with noninvasive therapies designed to control or eliminate the disease without surgery. Some noninvasive methods our specialists use include:
- Chemotherapy
- Immunotherapy
- Radiation therapy, such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT)
Your physician may use some of these methods simultaneously, or in conjunction with a surgical procedure.
Surgical treatment options
Sometimes removing all or part of an organ affected by cancer is the best course of treatment. If your physician determines that surgery is the most effective treatment for your condition, they are committed to delivering precise, advanced care with comprehensive support at every step of your journey.
Our multidisciplinary team specializes in:
- Minimally invasive surgery
- Open surgery
- Robotic surgery
- Endoscopic surgery
- Skull base surgery
- Complex surgery around the brain, eyes, windpipe and voice box
- Post-surgical cosmetic, functional, chewing and dental rehabilitation
In addition, our maxillofacial prosthodontics team provides dental repair and prosthetics of the teeth, jaw, nose, eyes and ears.
Cancer support
We know a cancer diagnosis affects more than your physical health. If you've just learned about a cancer diagnosis, are supporting a loved one through treatment or are transitioning into survivorship, we can connect you with a local community for ongoing care.
